New 21st Century Curriculum and Innovative Schedule:
Muskegon Catholic Central has implemented a 4x4 schedule, an educational model which ensures students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in our global environment. This nationally-praised model addresses our rapidly changing world by being flexible, creative and challenging with a new project-based curriculum where instructional strategies become student-centered and collaborative. Teachers facilitate students in creativity, innovation, and critical thinking/problem-solving skills. Weaved into this curriculum are Educational Development Plans (EDPs) for each middle and high school student, based on parent, teacher and student collaboration, assessment scores and career goals.
